My daughter is 9 and Roots is absolutely perfect for her, she’s fairly advanced with reading so she’s read everything herself and is already decided that Twig has an evil brother who is trying to get into Roots to steal the secrets so she’s finding places in our house to hide her archive copies! She says it’s much better than the Ministry of Magic in Potter as they don’t let children be included 🤣 I’m trying really hard not to give her the next envelope already and build the suspense longer as I just love the look of excitement on her face!
