A letter for the non-believer (do not purchase for children who believe). The truth about Father Christmas: a beautiful letter from the Postmaster General (Christmas Spirit Department) at International Elf Service, explaining who Father Christmas or Santa Claus really are, and whether or not he exists. (For believers, see our Letter from Father Christmas)
The Postmaster General explains that yes he does! You see, when we talk about Father Christmas, we actually mean Christmas Spirit … that magical feeling we get on the run up to Christmas when we share, help each other, laugh and play together as a family. And it’s that Extra Special Excitement we feel on Christmas Eve.
And how, when we become old enough, something very special happens: we get to BE Father Christmas … it happens whenever we share Christmas Spirit with someone else, or give gifts in secret. So, you see, Father Christmas will always be real, as long as you believe in the magic of Christmas Spirit!
Please read the letter prior to purchase to ensure it's right for your family!

I don’t think I’m going to need to use this for a while yet, but this will be such a beautiful way to reveal the truth yet keep the magic when currently 7yr old is ready. Definitely a great tool to have at the ready when the time is right.

A really lovely and beautifully written letter. I thought the ‘time was right’ as my son has been asking lots of questions and wanting to know. So I purchased this and he found it on the doormat. He read it and smiled and put it with all his other letters! We’ve been having your wonderful letters for 9 years now and still have every one! I’m hoping he will want them this year too. Or I’ll have to buy them for myself! I can’t thank you enough for all the years of very special christmas magic. Totally priceless.

A beautiful way to explain to children who have become aware that their is not a real life Santa flying around the world that the spirit of Christmas is more than one person and is inside all of us. Wonderful, professional, quality and lovely printed letter. Really recommend.

My Son’s just 10 & asking questions ‘re Santa. He’s had the letters over the last few years from the Elves, so when I saw this letter thought it was perfect for him. It explains things lovely and is quite subtle, although he was still a bit disappointed. He’s put it with his previous letters and it’s a nice letter to finalise his set.

I’ve bought this as my eldest son started secondary school this year and I’m worried someone will say Santa doesn’t exist. We’ve had the elf letters for about 4 years and the boys have loved them. Magical and funny and so much easier akd less scary than a naughty elf on the shelf in my opinion. I’ve not used the letter yet but I as its in a format he’s used to I’m hoping it will ease him into “knowing” and being part of team santa

This year will be the fourth wonderful year of elf letters for and daughter but in preparation for this inevitable question, I bought this beautiful letter as well to have on hand should it be needed. As with the letters, the quality and detail are brilliant and are definitely worth every penny to keep the magic alive. Thank you so much.
