Hello! It is so lovely to be visiting all you lovely Elf Express readers today to share with you today some great HOMEMADE GOODIES. I LOVE LOVE LOVE making things and I love even more making GIFTS for my kids. In our house, we have actually arrived at the point, where my kids (sometimes) say (instead of “can I have that”) – “Mummy, can you make me something like that?”. Hooray, they recognise that homemade can be just as good at store bought, but is actually a little better because I made with luuuurve.
So today, I wanted to share 5 of our favourite crafts – that would actually make some BRILLIANT little stocking fillers for your kids! So, without further ado, here we go….
Here are some adorable and super fun Dinosaur Eggs – and guess what? They are made from soap! So the kids have to wash their hands LOTS in order to get the dinosaurs out. Genius. So fun. It is used making melt & pour soap, which is very EASY to use.

Love loom bands? No? I didn’t think so (snigger). They seemed likes such a good idea at the time. The kids were busy for HOURS making loom band bracelets… but now I am stuck with hundres of left over loom bands scattered all over the house.. or am I? Turn your loom band left overs into thse super fun little Bouncy Balls. So cute. It is easy enough to create them in certain colours.
Read all about it here: Loom Band Bouncy Balls. (If you are really keen, we have a set of Loom Band Charms to check out – there is an adorable snowman and Rudolph among them!)

Have any magicians in the house? Or Harry Potter fans? Here are some AMAZING Magic Wands inspired by Nature – be it acorns, pine cones, rocks or shells.. what power will YOUR magic wand have. I think they look simply brilliant!
Find out how easy it is to make these Magic Wands.

Oh yes, time for some *trendy Macrame*… macramé is no longer the macramé that we know… add funky coloured paracords and the “fuddy duddy” craft of the past is suddenly cool bananas. Or cool dragonflies as the case may be. These are quick to learn how to make and look great as key chains, hair pieces or brooches.

And finally.. last but not least, these super cute, simple Minion Corner book marks. The Minions have taken our house by storms (there are yellow things everywhere), but how can you not love this jolly, bright and fun loving little characters? Encourage the gift of reading and make these book marks.

Oooh, thanks for the reminder. Might whip up some dino soaps for the kids at school. Thanks for linking up to #fartglitter x
Ooh that would be cool. You’re one of those brilliant teachers then?!
I am so doing Dino soap!!
The dino soap looks amaaaazing doesn’t it??
That dino egg soap is genius! I wonder if you could use those small stretchy dinosaurs as the “filler” or would they simply melt away if they came into contact with the warm soap?
Ooh now that I don’t know and stretchy baby dinos sound really fun! Maybe if they melt you’d have lovely alien soap eggs instead?
Lovely ideas!!!
Aren’t they just??
I absolutely LOVE the Minion bookmarks. They’d be a great hit with my kids.
They’re brilliant aren’t they?? We go through book marks like hot dinners here but they’d be eye catching enough to be able to find again before they vanished into the abyss of Foreverland.
What fantastic ideas. I am definitely going to make a minion bookmark for my son. He is going to love that thanks. I love the idea of the dinosaur soap too! #FartGlitter
They both look so good don’t they?! I love all of Maggy’s crafts and I love making things for the kids that are different to the things I see in the shops! x
Dino soap and bouncy balls are fab but the Harry Potter wands are my favourite! Want one!
Thanks so much for linking up to #fartglitter xx
